JuMP-dev prize 2026
jump-dev-prize ·Author: Oscar Dowson, Joaquim Garcia, Benoît Legat, and Miles Lubin
We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2026 JuMP-dev prize. Continuing our tradition started in 2025, this year’s prize is a jump rope. The prize committee consisted of Oscar Dowson, Joaquim Garcia, Benoît Legat, and Miles Lubin.
This year there are two winners:
-
Daniel Nguyen, for his engaging talk “DisjunctiveProgramming.jl’s New Suite of Solution Methods.”
-
Sophie Lequeu, for her talk “Adding array support for JuMP’s Automatic Differentiation” and for her work on ArrayDiff.jl, which is an experimental library that adds vector-valued automatic differentiation (AD) to JuMP. Support for vector-valued nonlinear functions is one of the oldest and most-frequently requested features in JuMP, and we look forward to a future pull request that makes this an official feature!
Congratulations, and happy JuMPing!
