The 10th JuMP-dev Workshop

We are pleased to announce the 10th edition of the JuMP-dev workshop.
The JuMP-dev workshop is evolving as the open source optimization community grows. This year we’re excited to co-locate the workshop with the CVXPY Workshop 2027 and the HiGHS Workshop 2027.
To make the organization easier, this website is the source of truth for all logistical information. If you’re a CVXPY or HiGHS user, welcome!
Key dates
The workshop will be held Thursday, July 22 and Friday, July 23, 2027 in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
This is the week prior to ISMP, which will be held July 25 through July 30, 2027 in Amsterdam.
Talk submissions close February 27, 2027. Accepted talks will be announced by March 14, 2027.
Purpose
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together students, researchers, and practitioners with interests in the methodological, algorithmic, and software aspects of JuMP, CVXPY, HiGHS, and related packages.
In particular, we invite new contributors and those who have not met the core development teams.
Code of Conduct
All participants will uphold our Code of Conduct.
How do I attend?
Tickets to attend the workshop will be released nearer to the event.
To request a visa invitation, please write to jump-dev-2027@googlegroups.com
with the subject line Visa invitation letter.
Contribute a talk
Similarly to previous years, we invite participants to present work related to open source optimization.
We especially seek talks about applications and providing feedback on the user-experience of using JuMP, CVXPY, or HiGHS in industry and teaching. Speakers are encouraged to highlight the challenges faced and lessons learned, not only successes.
If you have an idea for a talk and are not sure if it will be of interest, ask
the program committee by writing to jump-dev-2027@googlegroups.com.
See the previous workshops for examples of accepted talks:
Schedule
